  • ½ tsp salt
  • ⅛ tsp pepper
  • More Parmesean Cheese for topping

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Heat olive oil in a heavy pan and saute the onion, garlic and parsley until garlic is golden and onion in transparent. Add the tomatoes, tomato sauce, basil, salt and pepper. Bring to a simmer and simmer uncovered for 25-30 minutes until sauce is nicely thickened.
  2. Make the cheese filling by combining the ricotta cheese, grated mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, egg, dried parsley, sugar, salt and pepper.
  3. When sauce is done simmering, pour half of the sauce in the bottom of the dish you plan to bake the manicotti in.
  4. Fill each al dente noodle with filling. I use a spoon to put some in each side of the noodle and do my best to get it evenly distributed in the noodle.
  5. Place each noodle in the baking dish on top of the sauce you poured in.
  6. When each noodle is placed pour the remaining sauce over the noodles.
  7. Cover pan with foil and bake at 400 degrees for 40 minutes.
  8. Remove foil sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and return to oven for 5 minutes.
  9. Serve an Enjoy!

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.  Line a 9x13-inch baking pan with foil and coat liberally with cooking spray.
  2. In a large bowl, use an electric mixer to combine the butter and both sugars on medium speed for 2 minutes until fluffy. Add the eggs, vanilla, salt and baking soda and continue mixing until smooth, scraping the sides of the bowl as necessary. Turn the speed to low and add the flour until combined.  Stir in the chocolate chips.
  3. Press three-quarters of the dough into the prepared pan.
  4. In a medium saucepan, combine the condensed milk and caramels and cook over medium-low heat, stirring frequently, until the caramels are melted.
  5. Pour three-quarters of the caramel mixture on top of the dough in the pan and drop the remaining dough evenly in teaspoon-size amounts on top of the caramel. Save any remaining caramel for another use (it's great over ice cream!)
  6. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, until the center is just set.
  7. Sprinkle with flaked sea salt. Allow to cool completely in the pan before cutting into bars.

  3. Place a rack over a rimmed baking sheet and set aside. Whisk together the eggs, water and hot sauce. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, pepper, paprika and cayenne pepper. 
  4. Dredge the chicken in the flour mixture then coat it in the egg mixture. Return to the flour mixture and coat. Place chicken on the rack. Once all pieces are coated, place in the refrigerator for 30 minutes. This step helps the coating stick to the chicken.
  5. Meanwhile, heat the peanut oil to 350 degrees F. Working in batches, fry chicken for about 15 to 18 minutes, or until no longer pink and cooked through. Keep in mind that dark meat will take a little longer to cook than white meat. Watch the wings as they may cook in less than 15 minutes. Place chicken on a clean rack to help keep it crispy as you cook another batch.

  2. Preheat oven to 350 F. Grease a 9×5 loaf pan. In a large bowl, combine all dry ingredients. Whisk liquid ingredients in a separate bowl, combine wet and dry, then stir until just evenly mixed. Spread into the pan. Bake 50-55 minutes, or until loaf has risen and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. If desired, frost with either melted coconut butter or 1/2 cup powdered sugar combined with 1 tbsp milk of choice.
